Udders at it again…
This bit of disgusting news comes via Spy.So why does she back PETA, that wonderful bunch of animal right’s terrorists? Just as with fox-hunting she is wrong.
Ann Widdecombe is already known as one of those rare political beasts: a Conservative who supported the ban on foxhunting.
But now I learn that the Maidstone MP has waded into the ongoing row over the use of bearskins by the five regiments of foot Guards.
She has joined the campaign being waged by the animal rights group Peta, and has just written to all Conservative MPs asking them to support a parliamentary motion demanding that the MoD outlaw the practice.
“Many people assume that these hats are now made from fake fur, but unfortunately they are still fashioned from the skins of Canadian black bears,” she fumes. “Whatever the circumstances, there is really no need in the 21st century for these hats to be made of animal fur.”
There is no need in the 21st century Conservative Party for paternalistic Europhile hags either. Has woman been sound on anything? Ever? Her retirement from the party could not come too soon. What a disgrace that woman is.

OK, so Ms Widdecombe is not the most desirable campaigner against the use of bearskins for the Guards. You may find this bunch of “terrorists":

Let’s keep the word “terrorists” for REAL terrorists, can’t we? PETA really is not a terrorist group. Calling them “terrorists” makes you sound like a bigoted idiot. And that cannot be the case, surely?

Tossing paint on someone is an act of terrorism. It is a personal assault.
